Nigerian troops have reclaimed Marte in Borno State from Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists.
The operation lasted hours on Tuesday; scores of insurgents had been killed.
A army officer informed PRNigeria that the troops safely detonated plenty of improvised explosive gadgets buried alongside the routes.
“New Marte successfully in our palms since 3pm. Our will and willpower are unshaken. We’re ever decided to not let our service chiefs and the nation down,” he stated.
