The Nigerian Military on Monday described the allegation of extortion in opposition to its personnel in Edo State as a deliberate orchestration of falsehood circulated to intentionally smear its picture.
The Director, Military Public Relations, Brig.- Basic Mohammed Yerima, in a press release, reacted to a video clip alleging that military personnel had been accumulating N1000 from luxurious buses alongside Agbor-Benin street.
Yerima defined that it was additionally alleged within the mentioned video that pandemonium ensued following an allegation that transporters refused to pay the unlawful toll.
