Gunmen have attacked the Adamawa United FC, dispossessed gamers of valuables and kidnapped the workforce driver.
The gunmen are stated to have demanded N50 million ransom for the driving force.
It was gathered from sources in Adamawa State on Saturday that the incident occurred earlier within the day, at about 6.30 am, alongside the Benin-Ore-Lagos street whereas the workforce was travelling for a recreation in Lagos.
A member of the workforce who spoke on telephone relating to the incident stated the gamers and officers have been attacked by the gunmen who instantly emerged from the bush and held up the workforce at gunpoint.
The within supply stated the telephones of the workforce members, their cash and different valuables have been taken away by the attackers.
It has been confirmed that the Adamawa United FC was travelling for his or her Week 11 NPFL fixture in opposition to the MFM FC in Lagos.
