TikTok has announced a new slate of programming for Arab Heritage Month #ArabTikTok, celebrating Arab culture via short-form clips, while also showcasing some of the best creators within the Arab community.

TikTok has a new batch of programs dedicated to Arab Heritage Month. Through short-form videos, the platform will highlight Arab culture while also showcasing some of its top creators under #ArabTikTok community.

“For National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM), we’re proud to shine a light on the creators and businesses who uplift and champion the Arab community every day on TikTok, and within their local neighborhoods.”


TikTok will broadcast a slew of live streams throughout April for the occasion, including various fashion, music, and entertainment creators.

TikTok is also planning a monthly campaign to highlight Arab-owned small businesses with a series of #ArabTikTok small business videos, which will continue throughout the month. Finally, on the Sounds page, TikTok is highlighting R&B singer-songwriter Ilham and award-winning singer-songwriter Najwa Karam’s songs.

TikTok is also launching an Arab TikTok content hub to assist users stay up-to-date on the latest news about the event. Users will be able to follow along using the #ArabTikTok hashtag.
